| | Oops. Guess it has been a little longer than I thought. And what better way to procrastinate and not study for a huge test tomorrow than by updating the thing that no one reads or cares about? So here goes nothin'. So...yeah. Work's all done (has it really been that long?). Back to school and all that. It was a little difficult to get used to at first, but I'm back in the swing of things now. We're into week 8 of winter quarter. Hard to believe how quickly time is passing by. I'm fuzzy at best in three of my four classes, and the one that I actually understand and can do things in has nothing to do with my major (and no one likes or needs chemistry anyway). However, I am excited about what I'm doing and where it's going. I know I picked the right major for me. The challenge is ridiculous, but I wouldn't want it any other way. The week from hell is about to start. I've got this Power Systems test tomorrow afternoon, then everything just breaks loose. We got two homework assignments and a huge project in lab today for Power due next week, so I just threw that on top of the pile that already includes chem homework and a test next week, plus 12th Night stuff every night starting Saturday and running through next Sunday. I'm not going to have a lot of time, that's for sure. But that's why I'm back in school. I enjoy keeping busy out of my mind. Challenging myself to keep on top of things and micromanaging my life is what I do best. It's a good feeling when everything gets accomplished and it's another job well done. Well, hopefully a job well done. Otherwise, I guess it's same old same old. I'm so glad to be back in jazz band. I missed playing hardcore. Tuesdays and Thursdays are the most enjoyable days around just because I get to play and rock out. Or swing out, whatever the song requires. I do wish we had the band back together (boo me leaving and people graduating) but I'll take what I can get. 12th Night is just another chance for me to play, and there's even talk of some sort of reunion thing happening. Too bad I'm not cut out to be a percussion teacher. Haha. I'll just hire on to the local high school where I live after graduation. Maybe. Hope that's enough for everyone's satisfaction. I'm going back to studying for a while, then jazz band tonight, KKY stuff, and finally more studying. Everyone have a good next couple of weeks. |
